Remediation of TOTAL acid tar lagoons in Ertvelde (Ghent, Belgium)
Taking into account the emission of sulphur dioxide and the presence of unexploded ordnance from World War II, DEC is treating all the acid tar present on the site. DEC designed and constructed a specific plant on the site.
