Quality Assurance Manual
The entire management system is supported by our Quality Assurance Manual in which DEC’s ambition towards continuous improvement and watertight quality assurance is set out. The Safety, Health, Quality and Environmental plans drafted for the projects describe this commitment in detail and make it possible to include project-specific requirements.
VCA**
The DEC Safety Management System that is part of the management system has been certified in accordance with VCA** since 1996. At the group level, Safety, Health and the Environment is the concern and responsibility of everyone in the company. Besides general guidelines and recommendations, specific instructions are given for each project, based on project-specific risk analyses. This ensures that we not only meet our own safety guidelines but also the client’s specific requirements.
ISO 9001
To ensure client satisfaction, DEC uses the ISO 9001 quality assurance system for which it has been certified since1996. With the help of the ISO guidelines, we support the high level of results that is required in environmental projects. Thanks to this system, product deviations are quickly brought to light and timely action can be taken. The DEC projects follow a project-specific quality assurance programme whose primary goal is: “Get it right the first time.” This quality assurance system also has the advantage that it is fully transparent so the client can use it to keep track of the work.
Achilles environmental management system
As a specialist in environmental work, DEC was there at the inception of the Achilles protocol in Flemish environmental regulations. Within the management systems, the Achilles protocol is a new, unique environmental management system, specifically for soil remediation. The integrated management system of DEC meets the requirements of the Achilles protocol. DEC has been certified since 26 June 2006 for the Achilles management system, for all existing types of remediation!
